Join the group on Sunday, July 21, for a Clean-Up on the Parkway. Please arrive by 8:50am to sign in and receive a safety briefing. Volunteers will head out to clean by 9:10am.

Join other Xoso players in volunteering for a Parkway Clean-Up in Sacramento. This event is hosted by "America River Parkway Foundation" (ARPF).
Join us on the American River for an on-water clean-up starting at Sunrise and ending at River Bend. ARPF is partnering with American River Raft Rentals to raft down the river picking up trash and pulling invasive plants.
Please arrive by 8:00AM to sign in and receive a safety briefing. We will head out by 8:15AM and plan to make it to the end of the route by 12:30pm. Rafters, kayakers, canoers, scuba divers, etc. are invited! If you don't have a pick up plan you can use American River Raft Rentals shuttle service back to Sunrise by 1:00pm. Everyone registering through this link will have a spot on an ARRR raft reserved for them, if you plan on bringing your own boat or scuba-ing please let the volunteer coordinator know at volunteer@arpf.org.

If you know your player rating, or are a competitive/experienced player, this league is not for you.

Join other Xoso players in volunteering for Explore Midtown, Second Saturday!
This shift has only 2 spots available, so please sign up as soon as you are confident you can make it.
Volunteer schedule from Explore Midtown:
• 11:30 a.m. - Meet with Midtown Association staff, briefing on set-up plan.
• 11:35 a.m. - Set up info tent, serve as MA staff liaison for vendor or visitor questions.
• 12:00 p.m. - Programming and music begin.
• 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Answer questions and provide information about Second Saturday at the information tent.
• 4:00 p.m. - Tear down info tent and pack supplies.
• Each volunteer to take a 30-minute break, one at 2:30 p.m. and one at 3:00 p.m.

• Fremont Park, 16th and P Street.
October Activities planned:
- Interactive music experience for kids
- Ribbon wand dancing, bubbles, sparkling hair tinsel, face painting
- Hoop rack with roaming entertainer
- Fall leaf decorating, sensory bins, coloring books
