“Jenns Favorite Team” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Late Spring ‘24 Season, after defeating “One Season Wonders” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Thursday volleyball last night and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Jenns Favorite Team” and “One Season Wonders” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Jenns Favorite Team” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game and won 21-11. It looked like “Jenns Favorite Team” was going to be crowned the champions after the second set, but “One Season Wonders” had other ideas for game two. “One Season Wonders” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game 21-14 with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two sets between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the third and final game. “Jenns Favorite Team” took an early lead in the third set with some incredible serves, but “One Season Wonders” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Jenns Favorite Team” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won 21-9 to become the champions of Thursday Volleyball!
