Last night we wrapped up our Sunday kickball season, with four teams vying for the title.
In the first round, Pitches Get Stitches cruised to an 11-1 victory over Plebes 13. Meanwhile, The Dirtbags were battling against the Sunday Scaries. They emerged victorious, winning 5-2.
Back in the first week of the season, Pitches Get Stitches beat the Dirtbags, 9-7 in a close game. Could the Dirtbags exact revenge?
In an intense Kickball Championship showdown between the Dirtbags and Pitches Get Stitches, tension soared from the outset. The Dirtbags started strong, leading 4-3 as the game entered the pivotal 4th inning. However, Pitches Get Stitches rallied fiercely, scoring 3 crucial runs to turn the tide in their favor. Their defense tightened, holding the Dirtbags to 2 runs for the remainder of the game, securing a hard-fought victory. With stellar pitching and clutch hits, Pitches Get Stitches showcased their resilience and tactical prowess, clinching the championship title in a thrilling 7-5 finish.
