  Fire It Up

Congratulations to "Fire It Up" for becoming the Thursday Softball Champions!

“Fire It Up” are the Thursday Softball Champions of the Late Summer ‘21 Season, after defeating “BALL OF DUTY” 7-5!

“Fire It Up” played a miraculous game in the semifinals to make it to the championship. They defeated the #2 seed “Sirloins” 6-4 in an absolute nail biter. “Fire It Up” was mentally exhausted from their first game, but they had get their minds right to take on the #1 seed “BALL OF DUTY” in the championship. “Fire It Up” and “BALL OF DUTY” met during the regular season and that game was a defensive battle for the ages! “FIre It Up” lost to “BALL OF DUTY” in their previous matchup so they were ready to exact their revenge in the championship. “Fire It Up” jumped out of the gate early and scored few runs, but “BALL OF DUTY” scored a pair of runs of their own to keep them within reach. Both teams were hitting the ball very well and it looked like it was going to be an offensive battle, but “Fire It Up” kept making great play after great play on the defensive end and held “BALL OF DUTY” to just 5 runs. In the end, “Fire It Up” won the game because of their defense and proved that offense wins games but a great defense wins championships. “Fire It Up” went on to win the championship 7-5!

Congratulations to “Fire It UP” on becoming the Thursday Softball Champions of the Late Spring ‘24 season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
