Hits Happen to be our Summer Champs!

Yesterday we wrapped up our Sunday softball season with some incredible playoff games!

We had six teams hoping to end the season with a win, but only one could do so.

In our first game of the day, Morale is High, the 5th seed, rolled over the MASTERBATTERS, 8-0. Meanwhile, Ball Stars, the 6th seed, squeaked out a victory over Sluggers (#3), 6-5.

In our semi-finals, Morale is High continued their momentum, defeating the #1 seed, KP Construction, 6-2.

Hits Happen, our #2 seed, faced off against the Ball Stars, and Ball Stars weren't so lucky. They got bounced 8-3, setting up a championship showdown between the #2 Hits Happen and #5 Morale is High.

Earlier in the season when the two teams faced off, Hits Happen won a nail biter, 2-1. Could they do it again?

Morale is High entered the game playing in their 3rd game of the day. Hits Happen was on their second game and their bats were rested and ready. They erupted for 17 runs with several big innings, building a massive lead that Morale is High could not overcome. Hits Happen won the title, 17-7.

Congrats to Hits Happen on their championship, and to all our teams on another great season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
