“Drinks at 6am” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Ace Holes” 2-0!
“Drinks at 6am” entered the playoffs as a 4th seed underdog, but they scratched and clawed their way to the championship and it was incredible to watch. They were ready to be crowned the champions of Thursday Volleyball, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Ace Holes” squad before they could become the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Drinks at 6am” were able to come together and force “Ace Holes” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-13. “Drinks at 6am” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Ace Holes” played their hearts out, but “Drinks at 6am” were too hot to handle. “Drinks at 6am” went on to win the second match 21-17 and completed their miraculous playoff run!
Congratulations to “Drinks at 6am” on becoming the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘23 season!
