From the opening weeks, contenders like Gone Fishin’ 🎣 and We So Corny established themselves as forces, while Just Baggin quietly stacked quality wins and momentum as the season progressed. Regular season highlights were everywhere: We So Corny opening strong with multiple shutouts, Gone Fishin’ reeling off clutch wins over Bean Bag Boys and Shuck Me I’m So Corny!, and Elote repeatedly proving they could hang with anyone in the field. By the time the dust settled, the top six teams were separated by razor thin margins and setting the stage for a wide-open playoff bracket.
The December 16 playoffs wasted no time delivering chaos. In the quarterfinals, #5 Just Baggin knocked off #4 MUTHA SHUCKERS (3–1), while #3 Elote dominated #6 Sinking and Drinking (4–0). The semifinals brought the biggest statements of the night: Just Baggin stunned #1 Gone Fishin’ 🎣 with a decisive 3–1 upset, while #2 We So Corny survived a tight battle against Elote, 3–2. That set up a finals matchup nobody could look away from. Battling frigid temperatures and playoff pressure, We So Corny and Just Baggin went shot for shot, locked in a 2–2 deadlock before one perfectly placed bag finally tipped the scales. In a true nail-biter, We So Corny claimed the championship 3–2, proving that when it matters most, they can still find another gear even in the cold.
