“Los Kickers” are the Downtown Kickball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “Check Out Our Balls” 5-3!
“Los Kickers” entered the the playoffs as the #1 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished at the top of their division, but their real MVP during the championship was their defense. The game started out very evenly matched but everything changed after the third inning. “Los Kickers” offense started to fire on all cylinders, and it didn’t look like “Check Out Our Balls” would be able to stop them. “Los Kickers” scored a couple runs in back to back innings to take the lead, but “Check Out Our Balls” came right back and tied it up. “Check Out Our Balls” almost completed a miraculous comeback, but “Los Kickers” scored one more run in the final inning to take home the championship!
