Kickball - Tuesdays (Late Summer '19)

"Donkey Kick" is our Downtown division champion, avenging a championship game loss last season! The win also marks their second championship in the last three seasons, making them our clear top dog (or donkey) on Tuesday nights.

In their first playoff matchup the defense was perfect, blanking a tough "Game of Throws" squad 2-0. They followed that up in the championship with a 4-1 victory, once again behind the strength of their pitching and defense.

Things didn't quite get off on the right foot for "Donkey Kick" after they lost their first game of the season to the always tough "Roscoe's Kickin' and Waffles". But they came back strong with a streak of 5 straight wins, rocketing to the top of the standings and right into the playoffs.

After that streak "Donkey Kick" would stumble into the playoffs after a tough loss to the top team of the regular season and a tie to another playoff team. However, like the veteran squad they were, they didn't let that get them down. Instead they bounced back with arguable their best defensive games of the season.

Congratulations to "Donkey Kick" on the fantastic season! Tuesday night's win has cemented them as one of our very best kickball teams across all our leagues!
