Kickball - Tuesdays (Spring '19)

The "Donkey Kicks" are our Downtown Division champs, defeating "But STUFF" by the score of 9-1. It was a statement win to say the least, especially after both teams played two extremely close games during the regular season.

Through the season our champs had some ups and downs. They started of extremely well, going unbeaten in their first 4 games. That included back to back 6-0 and 7-0 wins.

However, they started to slide a bit, losing 3 of their next 4 games and limping into the playoffs as the #4 seed. And even though they did lose more often than not, the "Donkey Kicks" kept it close though, losing just by 1 run in each of those games.

Despite the rough end to the season "Donkey Kick" was a veteran team who knew they could bounce back, and it showed. Their first round win over "Ma! The Meatloaf!" was fantastic one, taking down the top seed and putting themselves in prime position to win it all.

In the championship game they notched it up another level, handily defeating a strong "But STUFF" squad that can put up a lot of runs. Instead, their defense was phenomenal, allowing just one run en route to their 9-1 win.
