Bocce Ball - Wednesdays (Late Summer '26)

Another season of Wednesday Night Bocce at Grant Park is officially in the books, and while the road to the championship was filled with some ridiculously close games, the night ended with a very familiar team back on top. 👀

Barack Obocce are your Bocce Champions for the THIRD season in a row! 🏆🏆🏆

The playoff action kicked off with an absolute nail biter between Balls To The Ball and Da'Boccery. With the game coming down to the wire, Da'Boccery grabbed a one point advantage and expertly worked the remaining clock to hang on for an 11-10 victory. 😂 Hey, playoff bocce isn't about style points... survive and advance!

And survive they did.

Waiting for Da'Boccery in the semifinals was the #1 seed Delta Breeze, and somehow the finish was EVEN CLOSER. Delta Breeze held the advantage late, but Da'Boccery pulled off the upset when it mattered most, escaping with a 15-14 victory and punching their ticket to the championship as the #5 seed. 🔥

On the other side of the bracket, Barack Obocce wasn't interested in quite as much drama. The #3 seed took care of business against #2 Bocceballics, earning a convincing 15-9 semifinal victory to set up a championship showdown with the red-hot Da'Boccery.

After back to back one point victories, Da'Boccery had officially earned their Cinderella run to the Finals but Barack Obocce had other plans. 😬

The defending champs took control of the championship match and never let go, rolling to a commanding 15-4 victory to capture yet another title.

And with that... BARACK OBOCCE HAS COMPLETED THE THREE-PEAT! 🏆🏆🏆

Huge congratulations to Barack Obocce on continuing their dynasty, and major props to Da'Boccery for an incredible playoff run that included TWO one point victories and an upset of the #1 seed!
