Bocce Ball - Wednesdays (Fall '26)

Wednesday night at Grant Park brought the season down to one final question: who would roll their way to the top? After three rounds of playoff action, the #1 seeded Barack Obocce proved the regular season standings were no fluke, finishing the night with a 15–11 championship victory and taking home the Wednesday Bocce title! 🏆

The action started in the quarterfinals, where #5 Bocce Like It’s Hot came ready to shake up the bracket. They knocked off #4 Da'Boccery 11–6, earning themselves a semifinal date with the top seed. Over on Court 2, #3 Delta Breeze and #6 Loonatics battled in a much tighter matchup. Loonatics kept things interesting, but Delta Breeze held them off for a 15–12 victory to keep their championship hopes alive.

In the semifinals, Barack Obocce finally took the court against Bocce Like It’s Hot. The #5 seed gave the regular season leaders a fight, but Barack Obocce stayed in control when it mattered and earned a 15–11 victory to punch their ticket to the championship. Meanwhile, Delta Breeze continued putting together an impressive playoff run. Facing #2 Bocceballics, the #3 seed pulled off the upset with another 15–11 win, setting up a #1 vs. #3 battle for the title.

After already playing two games, Delta Breeze had one more upset standing between them and the championship but Barack Obocce wasn't giving up the Oval Office that easily. 🇺🇸 The top seed closed out their season the same way they entered the playoffs: on top. Barack Obocce defeated Delta Breeze 15–11, completing their championship run and officially securing the Wednesday night crown!

Delta Breeze deserves plenty of credit for battling through three games and knocking off the #2 seed along the way, but in the end, #1 Barack Obocce successfully defended their spot at the top of the standings when it mattered most.

Congratulations to Barack Obocce, your Wednesday Bocce Champions at Grant Park! 🏆🎉
