Bocce Ball - Wednesdays (Summer '26)

The Wednesday night bocce season wrapped up with an exciting playoff bracket that saw the #3 seed Barack Obocce catch fire at just the right time to claim the championship! While #1 Bocceballics entered the postseason as the team to beat after an impressive regular season that included victories over every playoff team, including a 15-4 win over Barack Obocce back on opening night and the playoffs proved that anything can happen once the bracket begins.

The evening kicked off with the lone quarterfinal matchup, where #5 Domo arigacce, Mr. Robocce pulled off the upset over #4 Loonatics, earning a 16-11 victory to move into the semifinals. Waiting for them was top seeded Bocceballics, but the regular season champs showed why they held the #1 seed, advancing with a solid 15-9 win. On the other side of the bracket, #3 Barack Obocce delivered one of the biggest performances of the night, knocking off #2 Delta Breeze by a score of 15-3 to punch their ticket to the finals.

The championship match featured a rematch from Week 1, when Bocceballics cruised to a convincing 15-4 victory over Barack Obocce. This time, however, the script was completely flipped. Barack Obocce rose to the occasion, playing their best bocce of the season when it mattered most and defeating the top seed 15-11 to capture the championship. Congratulations to Barack Obocce on an incredible playoff run and championship victory, and a shoutout to all of our Wednesday night bocce teams for another fantastic season at Grant Park!
