“Pitches Be Brazy” are the Downtown Kickball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Los Kickers” 3-2!
The top two teams battled it out last night to see who would be crowned the champions of Tuesday kickball, and it did not disappoint. “Pitches Be Brazy” came in as the heavy favorite to win the championship but “Los Kickers” were not going down without a fight. The first few innings were a defensive battle with both teams only scoring a couple runs. It was anyone's game, until “Pitches Be Brazy” scored two more clutch runs late in the game to give them the lead. “Los Kickers” came right back and scored a run to make it close till the end, but “Pitches Be Brazy” defense stayed strong in the last few innings and prevented “Los Kickers” from scoring another run. “Pitches Be Brazy’s” incredible teamwork and impressive defense gave them the edge they needed to win the championship 3-2!
