“Muchas Ganas” are the Thursday Champions of the Spring ‘22 season, after defeating “Plan B” 5-4!
“Muchas Ganas” entered the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the championship. They were the #1 seed and it looked like no one would be able to stop them, but “Plan B” did not go down without a fight. “Muchas Ganas” came out on fire in the first half and they were determined to take home the championship. They took an early 3-1 lead, but “Plan B” came right back and scored two goals of their own to tie it up before the end of the half. It was anyone’s game, but “Muchas Ganas” came out of the second half and scored an incredible goal to take a 4-3 lead. “Plan B” turned up the tempo on the offensive end, and put a lot of pressure on “Muchas Ganas” defense. They were finally able to put one past “Muchas Ganas” goalie and tie the game up at 4-4. It looked like the title was up for grabs, until “Muchas Ganas” scored an amazing goal to give them the lead late in the second half. “Muchas Ganas” impressive defense and amazing teamwork was able to hold off “Plan B” from scoring again to win the championship 5-4!
