“Team B” are the Sunday Volleyball Champions of the Late Summer ‘21 Season, after defeating “Cookies” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Sunday volleyball last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Team B” and “Cookies” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Team B” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game and won 21-7. It looked like “Team B” was going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “Cookies” had other ideas for game two. “Cookies” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game 21-14 with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the third and final game. “Team B” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “Cookies” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. But “Team B” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won 21-14 to become the champions of Sunday Volleyball!
Congratulations to “Team B” on becoming the Sunday Volleyball Champions of the Late Summer ‘21 Season and winner of $50 to Blue Cue!
