The "Silver Snakes" are our Thursday soccer champion, defeating "Plan B" by the score of 2-1. As expected it was a close game, but for the third time this season the "Silver Snakes" got the better of their rival. It was the second time this season they defeated "Plan B" by the score of 2-1 as well!
Thanks to the win the "Silver Snakes" finish with a perfect 8-0 record. The win also marks their second title in as many seasons. The were equally as dominant as well.
How dominant? Well, they'd finish with a +28 point differential, 13 goals better than 2nd place "Plan B". And while their offense was incredible scoring 4 or more goals in 6 of their 8 games, it was the defense that really set them apart. Throughout the season the "Silver Snakes" allowed just 3 goals...total! Two of which were scored by "Plan B". All this to say that they were absolutely incredible all season.
Congratulations to the "Silver Snakes" on the perfect season!
