"Plan B" is our latest Thursday soccer champion, defeating the "Midtown Blues FC" by the score of 3-1. A season after coming in second place "Plan B" is once again on top!
It's another successful season in the books for "Plan B", ending it with a perfect 8-0 record. In their minds the championship was never in doubt despite the close scoreline. In fact, the two goal differential was the closest an opponent had come to catching them all season. Only once all season had a squad even scored more than one goal on our champs, and it was the very same "Midtown Blues FC" team that they took out in the league final.
Aside from that it was pretty much cruise control all season. In 7 of their 8 games this season "Plan B" defeated opponents by 4 or more goals. That's truly dominant!
Overall they finish with a +33 point differential, topping second place "Midtown Blues FC" by nearly triple. Those were the only two teams in the positive this season.
