"The Shamrocks" are our intermediate 4's champions on Wednesday nights, defeating the "Setting Ducks" in the league title.
Heading into the game "The Shamrocks" were definitely the underdog. They faced a "Setting Ducks" squad that was undefeated up to that point, with an 8-0 record. Not only that, our champs faced them twice in the previous week, losing both games by a combined score of 5-1. But, despite the uphill battle, our champs rose to the occasion!
In fact, "The Shamrocks" played arguably their best game of the season, trouncing the "Setting Ducks" in straight sets 21-10, 21-10. Both offensively and defensively they were locked in!
In total our champions finish with a 5-4 record, but all that really matters is the title win. They also finished with a +6 point differentioal, good for 2nd in the league. Congratulations to "The Shamrocks" on the incredible win!
