Kickball - Tuesdays (Fall '16)

"Kickies and Cream" is our Tuesday night Midtown division champion after a dominant undefeated season, ending with an 8-0-2 record and most importantly, they earn the top of the podium.

Unlike the champs from our Downtown Division "Kickies and Cream" used their high octane offense to power them to a championship, putting up 26 runs in two games last night. That was business as usual though, as our champions has been doing this all season ending it with a +36 run differential, four times that of any other team.

In their first game of the night "Kickies and Cream" knocked out "Resting Pitch Face" by the score of 10-7, showing that their offense was already in high gear. Little did we know at the time that they could still go higher! Our other semifinal game was an incredible back and forth affair that ended in a 13-12 victory in the second inning of extras, with "Three Kicks Mafia" coming out on top.

That set us up for a final between "Kickies and Cream" and "Three Kicks Mafia", two teams who have faces each other twice already and most recently ended in a 2-2 tie. That scoreline, however, would be far from what we saw Tuesday night. "Kickies and Cream", fresh off that 10 run output in the semifinal, would riddle off 16 runs in this one en route to a 16-6 statement win.

Congratulations to "Kickies and Cream" on the phenomenal season, we hope to see them again next year to try and defend their championship!
