Claphouse Brings the House Down in Wednesday Night Finals!

It was an exciting night of volleyball action at Mather Sports Center as the Wednesday Beginner League wrapped up another great season! The top four teams battled it out in the semifinals, each hungry for a shot at the title.

In the first semifinal, #1 Free Ballin’ showed why they earned the top seed, taking care of business with a 2–0 sweep over #4 Volley Maulers. On the other side of the bracket, #2 Claphouse came ready to play, powering through #3 Blockamole in straight sets to secure their spot in the finals.

The championship match between Free Ballin’ and Claphouse did not disappoint. Claphouse came out swinging, taking the first set 21–13, but Free Ballin’ stormed back with a dominant 21–10 win in the second. The third and final set had everyone on the edge of their seats as both teams traded points back and forth, but in the end, Claphouse pulled off the nail-biting 22–20 victory to claim the championship!

Congrats to Claphouse, your Wednesday Night Beginner Volleyball Champs! 🏆 Thanks to all the teams for bringing great energy and sportsmanship all season long — we can’t wait to see everyone back on the court next season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
