  Hit Happens

Congratulations to "Hit Happens" for becoming the Rocklin Friday Volleyball Champions!

“Hit Happens” are the Rocklin Friday Volleyball Champions of the Winter ‘24 Season, after defeating “You Got Served” 2-1!

“Hit Happens” came into the playoffs as the #1 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the title but they had to defeat a very formidable “You Got Served” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Hit Happens” came out on fire in the first set and did not allow “You Got Served” to get anything going. “Hit Happen” dominated the first game with great serves and amazing team work. They were able to win the first set 21-11 and it looked like they were unstoppable but “You Got Served” had other ideas. “You Got Served” came right back in the second set and performed bump, set and spike to perfection. They were able to claim victory in the second match and forced a third set. The third and final set was very close but “Hit Happens” was too hot to handle. They took the lead early in the final match and they never looked back from there. “Hit Happens” won the third set 21-12 and became the champions of Friday volleyball!

Congratulations to “Hit Happens” on becoming the Rocklin Friday Volleyball Champions of the Winter ‘24 season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
