Congratulations to "Hits Happen" for becoming the Sunday Softball Champions!

“Hits Happen” are the Sunday Softball Champions of the Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Unknown” 9-2!

It was the playoffs yesterday for Sunday softball and it didn’t disappoint. “Hits Happen” and “Unknown” faced off in the championship and it was a match to remember. “Hits Happen” and “Unknown” met during the regular season and that game turned out to be a defensive battle. Everyone was expecting another low scoring game but both teams came out on fire on the offensive end. “Hits Happen” scored five runs in the first three innings and took a commanding lead going into the 4th, but “Unknown” scored a pair of runs of their own that kept them within reach. Both teams were hitting the ball very well and it looked like it was going to be an offensive battle all the way until the end, but “Hits Happen” kept making great play after great play on the defensive end and held “Unknown” to just 2 runs. In the end, “Hits Happen” made it to the championship because of their impressive offense but their defense was the main reason they won the championship!

Congratulations to “Hits Happen” on becoming the Sunday Softball Champions of the Summer ‘23 season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
