Congratulations to "The Last Dance" for becoming the Downtown Kickball Champions!

“The Last Dance” are the Downtown Kickball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “Runners Up” 8-7!

“The Last Dance” entered the playoffs as one of the favorites to take home the championship. Their defense was the main reason they finished at the top of their division, but their real MVP during the championship was their offense. The game started out evenly matched but everything changed after the third inning. “The Last Dance’s” offense started to fire on all cylinders scoring two runs in back to back innings, but “Runners Up” were able to score a couple of runs of their own to stay within striking distance. Going into the 6th inning, “The Last Dance” had a 6-3 lead and it looked like all hope was lost for “Runners up”. “Runners Up” put two runners on base and kept their championship dreams alive. With two outs “The Last Dance” made a defensive error that allowed “Runners Up” to tie the game and send the championship into extra innings. “Runners Up” had all the momentum going into the 7th inning, but “The Last Dance” stayed calm and didn’t panic at the plate. “Runners up” almost completed a miraculous comeback, but “The Last Dance” secured the victory with a walk off sacrifice fly to win the championship 8-7!

Congratulations to “The Last Dance” on becoming the Downtown Kickball Champions!

Congratulations to "To Jammers" for becoming the Midtown Kickball Champions!

“Toe Jammers” are the Midtown Kickball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “Matching T-Shirts” 6-3!

It was the playoffs for our Wednesday kickball league last night and it did not disappoint. It was a tough journey for the “Toe Jammers” to get to the championship as they narrowly defeated “Sit On My Base” in a comeback 6-4 semi final match. “Toe Jammers” advanced to the finals to take on a very formidable “Matching T-Shirts” team and it turned out to be a match to remember. The championship was a defensive game to start. “Toe Jammers” struck first with 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning, then they added 4 more runs in the 4th which turned out to be enough for them to secure the championship in a 6-3 final victory. “Matching T-Shirts” played their hearts out, but “To Jammers” could not be stopped at the plate!

Congratulations to “To Jammers” on becoming the Midtown Kickball Champions!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
