Last Minute wins at the... last minute?

Last night we wrapped up our Friday night volleyball league with some epic games and long rallies.

The top four teams came to play and battle it out, hoping to end the night as our season champions.

The #1 seeded "Just The Tip" faced off against the #4 Seleção, only to lose in a hard fought battle. The best of 3 match only took two games, but they still ran long, proving that the rallies were long and intense.

#2 Reasonably Sweaty faced off against the #3 "Last Minute" in another close match, but Last Minute came out on top 2-0.

Our championship matchup featured the 3 vs 4 seeds. Earlier this season, Last Minute prevailed against Seleção 2-1, and Seleção was determined to ride their first round momentum to a different outcome this time. They scrapped there way to a 21-15 opening win to set the tone, before Last Minute bounced back with a close 21-19 win in game 2. In the deciding third game, the two teams battled back and forth, with Last Minute ultimate winning 21-19 in an epic finish.

Congrats to Last Minute on their championship season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
