Cruising to Victory

"Set an Example" is our Friday volleyball champion, defeating "Can You Dig It" in straight sets 21-15, 21-18. While the scores seemed close enough, "Set an Example" was the stronger team all night and in the end cruised to victory.

These two teams had their eye on each other a couple weeks ago, with the championship game set in stone early. Each time they played one another the games were more and more competitive. Heading into the game though "Can You Dig It" had the edge winning 2 of their 3 head to head matches, but it seems "Set an Example" saved the best for last. And while the championship game only evened out the season series, all that really mattered was the championship win!

Overall "Set an Example" finished with a 7-2 record, with both loses coming to "Can You Dig It". They'd also finish with a +6 set differential. At times our champs could get streaky, but when they were hot they couldn't be stopped!

Congratulations to "Set an Example" on the incredible season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
