2 in a Row!

"Team Iceland" has secured the title as top team in Division 1, going an undefeated 9-0 following a 5-2 championship game win. The win marks their second straight title!

All season it was championship or bust and "Team Iceland" didn't disappoint. They were dominant early, winning their first two games of the season by a combined 9 goals. They followed that up with a couple of clutch 1-goal wins over the division's other two playoff teams, along with win after win after win after win after win.

Their dominance can't be understated either, finishing with a +25 goal differential. For comparison "A.F.C. Arden", who they met in the championship game, had a whopping +0 differential. "Team Iceland" also notched 4 clean sheets this season.

Congratulations to "Team Iceland"! Thanks to their second straight title, we can clearly say they are the best team on Sunday nights!

Up, Up and Away

"The Pick Me Ups" are our Division 2 champion, defeating "Los Pandas FC" with ease in a 5-0 route. Never had there been a champion so favored to win and "The Pick Me Ups" didn't disappoint.

All season their offense was second to none. In their first 6 games of the season "The Pick Me Ups" didn't score less than 6 goals. 6!

Even better, on 5 separate occasions they defeated opponents by 5 goals, no doubt contributing to their astronomical +33 point differential. Only once did they draw, and that was to "Los Pandas FC". "The Pick Me Ups" knew they were the better team though, and they proved it in Sunday's championship game with their 5-0 win.

Congratulations to "The Pick Me Ups" on the incredible season! We can't wait to see how they stack up against the tough competition in Division 1 next season!

C-Ya!

"C-Team (aka The Screeching Raccoons)" have taken the Division 3 title! Unlike out other two division winners, "C-Team" had to work their way through the bracket by winning twice as the #3 seed for the playoffs.

In their first round match our champs squeaked (or should we say screeched) their way past "Futbolitos FC" in a great 3-2 victory. The win was a moral victory in itself after the "C-Team" had dropped two games, first 5-0 and then 5-2, to that very same team through the regular season.

After exorcising that demon the "C-Team" took on the #1 seed "The B Team". Unlike their previous playoff game this one was a defensive struggle that ultimately leaned in our champs' favor, 1-0.

It was a rocky regular season to be sure, but sometimes all you need to do is make the playoffs and anything can happen! The "C-Team" proved that last night, defeating two teams who they hadn't beaten in the regular season. Congratulations on the championship!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
