Buddy Up!

The "Thunder Buddies" are our Sunday Kickball champs, defeating "Too Legit to Kick" in an incredible league final!

"Too Legit to Kick" Was the #1 seed heading into the playoffs, pegged as the favorite to win it all. However, despite coming in 3rd during the regular season the "Thunder Buddies" are a threat to win every season and were not to be overlooked.

Things started out great for the "Thunder Buddies", winning their first 4 games and rocketing to the top of the standings. However, a 2-2 tie to "Golden Toes", sandwiched between 2 losses, dropped them down to third. A win in the final game of the regular season ensured their #3 seed.

Our champs got the last laugh this season though. After a 5-4 regular season loss to "Too Legit to Kick", "Thunder Buddies" got the ultimate revenge with a 6-5 win in the most important game of the season. In the game they showed their veteran experience, making plays when needed and keeping the errors to a minimum.

Overall the "Thunder Buddies" also finished with the highest point differential at +38, showing us that when they were on point they couldn't be stopped.

Congratulations to the "Thunder Buddies" on their second championship!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
