Dominant Defense

"I'm Kick James, Pitch!!" is our Downtown Division champion after knocking off a couple of top opponents. At times it wasn't easy, but they showed why they are our top team on Tuesdays by taking another championship to add to their trophy case.

In their first game of the night "I'm Kick James, Pitch!!" took on the "Base Invaders." Our champs were too much to handle for this indy team as they would win handily 8-1. The most impressive thing about the win? This was only the second run they'd given up all season!

They weren't about to let anymore runs score either, despite taking on the #2 seeded "RiKICKulous" in the championship game. "RiKICKulous" pitched a shutout of their own in a 3-0 win over "Where My Pitches At?!" setting us up for a final between to two best teams in the division.

Defense was once again the them here with a total of one run scored between these two juggernauts. "I'm Kick James, Pitch!!" was able to grab that game-deciding run while playing the elite defense they were known to do all season. At the end of it all their 1-0 win sealed an undefeated 10-0 season. Congrats to "I'm Kick James, Pitch!!" for an incredible defensive season, and one that will go down in the record books!

Back-to-Back Nail-Biters

The "Tighty Whities" are our Tuesday Midtown Division champions following back-to-back shutouts, showing that defense does in fact win championships! They didn't make it easy on themselves nor their fans with two close games, but hopefully the aptly named "Tighty Whities" brought some spares to tide themselves over.

Entering the night as the #3 seed the "Tighty Whities" faced an uphill battle, starting with a game versus #2 "New Kicks on the Block". Fortunately for them their defense came to play, and despite picking up just one run, they were able to shut down their opponent's offense completely. With the 1-0 win, they were off to the championship!

In the championship game they took on the top-ranked "Pussy Cat Balls" following an 8-4 win for them in their first game.

The final also turned out to be a defensive struggle, not unlike the championship from our other division. The "Tighty Whities" once again showcased their top-notch defense by not allowing a run. On offense they picked up two runs, which was more than enough by the time the game had ended. Congrats to "Tighty Whities" on a great season and a perfect championship run!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
