Kickball - Wednesdays (Late Spring '26)

The Wednesday Super Social Kickball playoffs delivered everything you could ask for... upsets, close games, and an unforgettable championship run. With the top seven teams earning a playoff berth, every game mattered, and by the end of the night it was #5 Kicking & Screaming standing alone at the top after an incredible run through the bracket.

The road to the title wasn't easy. Kicking & Screaming opened the playoffs by knocking off #4 Sit On My Base via forfeit before facing the biggest challenge of the night: the #1 seeded team Ballievers. Ballievers had been the team to beat all season, but Kicking & Screaming wasn't intimidated. In one of the night's biggest surprises, the fifth seed pulled off a thrilling 9-7 upset, punching their ticket to the championship game and proving they belonged on the biggest stage.

On the other side of the bracket, #2 Patas Sucias battled their way through a pair of hard fought games. They edged #7 Recess Rejects 5-3 in the quarterfinals before surviving a competitive semifinal against #3 Dodgeholics, winning 9-7 to earn their shot at the title. Dodgeholics had advanced with a narrow 3-2 victory over #6 Glizzy Guzzlers, making every round of the bracket fiercely contested.

With the championship on the line, Kicking & Screaming carried their momentum into the final and never looked back. The fifth seed capped off their magical playoff run with a convincing 7-2 victory over #2 Patas Sucias, completing one of the most impressive underdog stories of the season. Taking down the #4, #1, and #2 seeds in consecutive games is no small feat, and Kicking & Screaming earned every bit of their championship trophy.

Congratulations to Kicking & Screaming on an unforgettable playoff performance and to all seven playoff teams for making the Wednesday Super Social season one to remember. What started as a battle between the top seeds ended with an incredible Cinderella story and a new set of champions!
