*ROCKLIN* Softball - Sundays (Late Spring '26)

What a way to wrap up the season! Sunday's playoffs at Margaret Azevedo Park delivered two exciting semifinal matchups before Ump Yours and Inglorious Batters squared off in a championship game that came down to the final moments.

The top seeded Inglorious Batters earned their spot in the finals with a 6-3 victory over Field of Dreamers, while Ump Yours punched their ticket by defeating Bats Hit Crazy 6-1.

The championship was a true defensive battle from the very first pitch. Ump Yours struck first with an early run, but Inglorious Batters answered in the fourth to even things up at 1-1. Both teams made big defensive plays throughout the game, including a clutch tag at second by Ump Yours to escape a scoring threat and keep the game tied.

With the pressure mounting and the title on the line, the game remained deadlocked until the bottom of the final inning. After a two out walk loaded the bases, Jeb stepped to the plate and delivered the biggest swing of the season, driving a ball just over the outstretched reach of the left fielder to bring home the winning run and seal a dramatic 2-1 walk off victory!
