First Place

Bowling - Thursdays (Late Spring '26)

Thursday night bowling wrapped up with the #1 seeded Pinheads proving exactly why they earned the top spot all season long. Facing off against the #2 seeded Ice Cream Team in the championship match, Pinheads put together a complete team effort and secured the title with a 12-3 victory in the best of three points format.

While Ice Cream Team unfortunately appeared to be short handed for much of the night, they still battled their way through every frame and managed to earn 3 valuable match points against a deep and experienced Pinheads lineup. Jake led the way for Ice Cream Team with games of 145, 167, and 178, including the highest individual game of the championship match. Even with limited numbers, they never stopped competing and made Pinheads earn every point they got.

Pinheads, however, showcased the depth that helped carry them to the top seed. In Game 1, Des (169) and Steve (160) helped power the team to a dominant start. Game 2 featured another strong team performance led by Ron's 149, while Pinheads continued piling up points across the board. By Game 3, the championship was within reach, and strong games from Steve (149), Ron (137), and Brian (115) helped seal the deal. Throughout the match, Pinheads consistently filled frames and delivered clutch shots when points were on the line.

Congratulations to the Pinheads on an outstanding season and a well earned Thursday Night Bowling Championship! 🎉🏆 And a special shoutout to Ice Cream Team, who showed up, competed, and never quit despite the challenges. Three championship points is nothing to hang your head about, and making it all the way to the finals is an accomplishment worth celebrating. 🎳👏
