Softball - Mondays (Spring '26)

Monday night softball delivered playoff chaos, and in the end it was the #4 seed Untouchaballs who completed an incredible championship run at Grant Park. Facing the #1 seed Italians Don’t Wear Pockets in the semifinals, Untouchaballs came out swinging and never looked back, stunning the top seed with a dominant 13-5 victory. The offense exploded early, and their defense backed it up to punch their ticket to the finals in upset fashion.

On the other side of the bracket, the #2 seed Thirst Traps handled business against the #3 seed The Rubberduckies, cruising to a 12-4 semifinal win. That set the stage for a championship matchup between a confident higher seed and a red-hot underdog that had already taken down the league favorite.

The finals belonged to Untouchaballs from the start. Riding the momentum from their semifinal upset, the #4 seed continued their offensive surge while tightening up defensively. Thirst Traps battled throughout the game, but Untouchaballs controlled the action and never let them fully settle in. When the dust cleared, the scoreboard showed a convincing 10-3 final, as the #4 seed Untouchaballs completed the upset run and claimed the Monday night softball championship. From semifinal shocker to title winners, this was a playoff performance to remember. 🏆🥎
