In an electric finish to the Thursday Volleyball league at Turn Verein, The Ball Droppers spiked their way to the championship, capping off an impressive season with a playoff run to remember. After a strong 6-2 regular season, their only losses coming against Flaming Flamingos and Smokin' Aces, The Ball Droppers found themselves with a shot at the title — and they made it count.

Their playoff journey began with a semifinal clash against Calm Your Tips, a formidable opponent who didn’t go down without a fight. The Ball Droppers edged out a 2-1 victory, setting up a championship rematch against the top-seeded Flaming Flamingos, the team that handed them their first loss of the season. But this time, The Ball Droppers flipped the script, delivering a clutch 2-1 win in a tense, back-and-forth final.

Throughout the season, The Ball Droppers displayed exceptional teamwork, consistent serving, and sharp net play. Their ability to maintain focus and adapt in crucial moments made the difference, especially in the playoffs. While Flaming Flamingos had set the pace in the regular season, The Ball Droppers rose to the occasion when it mattered most.
