“Dink responsibly” are the Monday Intermediate Pickleball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “Super Smash Bros.” 2-0!
It was the playoffs for Monday Pickleballl last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Dink responsibly” and “Super Smash Bros.” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Dink responsibly” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship. It looked like “Dink responsibly” were going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “Super Smash Bros.” had other ideas for game two. “Super Smash Bros.” changed up their game plan and were able to keep the match competitive all the way till the end with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the last few points of the game. “Dink responsibly” were able to find a groove late in the second game and won the championship and became the champions of Monday Pickleball!
