Pickleball - Thursdays (Late Spring '23)

“Out of the Kitchen” are the Thursday Pickleball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “YoYo” 2-1!

It was the playoffs for Thursday Pickleballl last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Out of the Kitchen” and “YoYo” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Out of the Kitchen” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship. It looked like “Out of the Kitchen” was going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “YoYo” had other ideas for game two. “YoYo” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the third and final match. “Out of the Kitchen” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “YoYo” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Out of the Kitchen” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match to become the champions of Thursday Pickleball!
