*ROCKLIN* Pickleball - Wednesdays (Late Summer '26)

The Wednesday Intermediate Pickleball playoffs at Twin Oaks Park stretched across two weeks, and when it was all said and done, the #1 seed In a Pickle lived up to their top billing and walked away as champions! 🥒🏆

The postseason kicked off September 16 with two closely contested quarterfinal matchups. #4 Rob and the Lobbers battled past #5 Pickle is Life in a 2-1 victory, while #3 The Pickle Polishers also needed all three games to knock off #6 Dinkin and Drinkin, 2-1. Those wins earned both teams a spot alongside the top two seeds in the semifinals the following week.

When play resumed September 23, In a Pickle wasted no time showing why they entered the bracket at #1. They swept Rob and the Lobbers 2-0 to secure the first spot in the championship. The other semifinal was a much tighter battle, as #2 Leo Season and #3 The Pickle Polishers went the distance before Leo Season pulled out the 2-1 victory.

That left the top two seeds standing for the championship, and the final absolutely delivered. In a Pickle and Leo Season needed all three games to decide the title, but when the final point was scored, the #1 seed came out on top with a 2-1 victory. In a Pickle finished their playoff run with back to back wins and proved that sometimes being In a Pickle isn't such a bad thing after all. 😉
