Kickball - Wednesdays (Summer '26)

The Wednesday Night Kickball playoffs wrapped up at Roosevelt Park, and after two weeks of action, we have two more champions to crown! Look What You Made Me Do took care of business as the #1 seed in Bracket C, while Dodgeholics did the same in Bracket D, giving us a pair of top seeds finishing their seasons exactly where they started... on top! 🏆🔥

🥇 BRACKET C: LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO

Bracket C got underway on August 26 with #4 Ball Me Maybe earning a 10-6 quarterfinal victory over #5 The BallBusters to advance to Week 2. Waiting for them was #1 Look What You Made Me Do, and Ball Me Maybe gave the top seed everything they had before Look What You Made Me Do pulled out an 8-6 semifinal victory. The other semifinal was even closer, as #2 Rubber Busters narrowly escaped #3 Recess Rejects 8-7, setting up the top two seeds for the championship.

After two competitive semifinals, Look What You Made Me Do made sure the championship wouldn't come down to the final kick. The #1 seed held Rubber Busters to just three runs while putting seven on the board themselves, earning a 7-3 victory and the Bracket C title! 👑 Congratulations to Look What You Made Me Do on finishing their season as Bracket C Champions, and shoutout to Rubber Busters on a great run to the Finals!

🥇 BRACKET D: DODGEHOLICS

Bracket D also began with quarterfinal action on August 26, including #4 Glizzy Guzzlers taking down #5 Blue Balls 6-2 to advance. #3 Balls so Hard also moved on from their matchup with #6 OOF!, setting up the final four for September 2. In the semifinals, #1 Dodgeholics ended the Glizzy Guzzlers' run with a 9-6 victory, while #2 TOE INFINITY AND BEYOND punched their championship ticket with a 7-3 win over Balls so Hard.

That gave us another #1 vs. #2 championship matchup, but Dodgeholics had ZERO interest in making this one stressful. 😮‍💨 The top seed delivered their biggest win of the playoffs when it mattered most, defeating TOE INFINITY AND BEYOND 9-1 to emphatically claim the Bracket D Championship! 🏆 Dodgeholics put up nine runs in both their semifinal and championship games, closing out the season with two strong performances and a well-earned title.

Congratulations to Look What You Made Me Do and Dodgeholics, our Bracket C & D Champions! 🏆🏆 And with that, all four Wednesday Night Kickball brackets have officially crowned their winners!
