Volleyball - Thursdays: Intermediate at MSC (Summer '26)

The Intermediate Volleyball playoffs at Mather Sports Center wrapped up with the #1 seed My Kill is Karma ❤️‍🔥 proving exactly why they entered the night on top! The four team playoff field featured #1 My Kill is Karma, #2 Blockbuster, #3 Hawt Dawgs, and #4 Big Dig Energy, with all four teams battling for a spot in the championship.

The semifinals kicked off with #1 My Kill is Karma taking on #4 Big Dig Energy, and the top seed wasted no time making its championship intentions clear. My Kill is Karma earned a 2-0 sweep to punch its ticket to the finals. The other semifinal provided a little more drama, as #3 Hawt Dawgs pulled off the upset over #2 Blockbuster. Blockbuster managed to take a set, but Hawt Dawgs battled through all three to earn a 2-1 victory, setting up a #1 vs. #3 championship showdown.

Once the championship began, My Kill is Karma came out absolutely firing. The #1 seed dominated the opening set, cruising to a 21-7 victory and immediately putting Hawt Dawgs in a must win situation. Hawt Dawgs responded with a much stronger performance in the second set and kept things competitive, but My Kill is Karma wasn't about to let the match reach a third. They closed out the second set 21-16, completing the 2-0 sweep and officially claiming the Intermediate championship! 🏆🔥

Congratulations to #1 My Kill is Karma ❤️‍🔥 on an impressive championship run! They entered playoffs as the top seed, went 4-0 in sets on the night, and finished things off by outscoring Hawt Dawgs 42-23 in the championship match.
