Volleyball - Beginner Tuesdays (Summer '26)

Tuesday night’s Beginner Volleyball playoffs at Turn Verein wrapped up with #2 seed Serves You Right claiming the championship! While the second seed entered the night as one of the favorites to make a deep run, the playoff bracket had plenty of action along the way, including an impressive run from the #5 seed.

The night kicked off with #5 Net Positive taking on #4 The Muffin Man in the quarterfinals. Net Positive came ready to play, sweeping the higher seeded Muffin Man 2–0 to advance. Their underdog run didn’t stop there. In the semifinals, Net Positive faced the #1 seed Sets on the Beach and pulled off another huge 2–0 sweep, knocking out the top seed and earning their spot in the championship match.

On the other side of the bracket, #2 Serves You Right matched up against #3 Volley Stealers in the semifinals. Serves You Right took care of business with a 2–0 victory, setting up a championship showdown between the #2 and #5 seeds. Net Positive had already knocked off the #4 and #1 seeds, but Serves You Right was ready to put an end to their Cinderella run.

Serves You Right came out strong in the championship, taking the opening set 21–13. Net Positive made them work for it in the second, keeping things much tighter and battling all the way to the finish. Serves You Right held their ground when it mattered most, taking the second set 21–19 to complete the 2–0 sweep and officially secure the Tuesday Beginner Volleyball title! 🏆🔥
