The road to the title wasn't without its twists. Wet Like Water opened the playoffs with a convincing quarterfinal victory over #8 seed Definitely Not Team A, advancing with a 2-0 match win. Elsewhere, #5 seed H Flyers benefited from a forfeit against #4 seed 99 Problems But A Swish Ain't One, while #2 seed The Animals and #3 seed Broken Ankles also advanced after first round forfeits. While several teams saw their playoff runs end before taking the court, the remaining contenders were ready to prove they belonged on championship night.
The semifinals delivered exactly what fans would expect from the top seeds. Wet Like Water continued their dominant run, sweeping #5 H Flyers 2-0 to punch their ticket to the finals. On the other court, #2 seed The Animals showed why they spent the season near the top of the standings, taking down #3 seed Broken Ankles in straight sets to set up a heavyweight championship showdown between the league's top two teams.

The top seed took control early and never looked back, cruising to a 21-8 victory to secure the deciding game and claim the championship.
After earning the #1 seed and navigating the playoff bracket without dropping a match, Wet Like Water proved they were the team to beat all season long. The Animals gave them everything they could handle in the finals, but in the end, the championship trophy belonged to Wet Like Water, who finished their playoff run with one final splash and a well earned title.
