🏐 Hit & Run Takes It All!

Thursday night intermediate volleyball at MSC delivered a playoff shakeup for the ages as the #4 seed Hit & Run stormed through the bracket to capture the championship. Entering the postseason as the lowest remaining seed, Hit & Run had no interest in playing by the script. They knocked off the top seed in the semifinals, then kept the momentum rolling in the finals to complete an impressive underdog title run.

The upset train started in the semifinals when Hit & Run stunned the #1 seed Volley Llamas in straight sets 2-0, proving right away they were a dangerous team nobody wanted to face. On the other side of the bracket, the #3 seed No Diggity also pulled off an upset of their own, defeating the #2 seed My Kill is Karma in straight sets 2-0. With the top two seeds both eliminated, the championship match became a battle between two surging squads looking to finish their Cinderella stories.

In the finals, Hit & Run left no doubt. They controlled the match from start to finish, taking the first set 21-13 before closing things out with another convincing 21-14 win. No Diggity made a great run to the title game, but Hit & Run had all the momentum and never let it slip away. From #4 seed to champions, it was a clutch and confident playoff performance worthy of the crown.

Thanks to all the teams for a great season, and we hope to see you back out there next time! 🏆🏐

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
