Shutouts, Slugfests, and a Title 👑

Sunday morning at Margaret Azevedo Park had a little bit of everything with shutouts, absolute chaos, and one of the toughest championship runs we’ve seen. The 4th seed Ump Yours 🥎 came out swinging in the semifinals, shocking the top seeded Field of Dreamers with a dominant 9-0 shutout to flip the bracket upside down early.

Then came the marathon. The matchup between Inglorious Batters and Bats of Fury turned into an all out war, stretching two extra innings and running about an hour and a half... well past the usual game time. It was back and forth the entire way, but Bats of Fury dug deep and came out on top 15-14 in one of the wildest games of the season, earning their spot in the finals the hard way.

And somehow… they weren’t done. Rolling into the championship with just 8 players, Bats of Fury had every reason to run out of gas but instead, they locked in. Behind strong defense, smart base running, and clutch hitting, they controlled the pace of the game and never let momentum slip.

In the end, Bats of Fury shut out Ump Yours 🥎 3-0 to complete the underdog run and secure the title. From extra inning battles to playing short handed in the finals, this team earned every bit of that championship.

Grit, resilience, and just enough chaos... Bats of Fury are your Rocklin Sunday champs 🏆🔥

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
