🏆 Big Dig Energy Delivers!

Sunday Intermediate Volleyball in Rocklin came down to the wire, and it was the #2 seed Big Dig Energy who rose to the occasion and captured the championship at Clarke Dominguez Gym. In the semifinals, the #1 seed Bloodline Baddies advanced with a straight-set win over #4 seed Kiss My Ace, taking the match 2-0 and looking poised for a title run. On the other side, Big Dig Energy had to earn every point in a battle against #3 seed Horizon, surviving a competitive three-set match 2-1 to punch their ticket to the finals.

That set the stage for a showdown between the top two seeds, and the championship match absolutely delivered. Every rally mattered, every point was contested, and neither team gave an inch. Big Dig Energy stayed composed under pressure and found just enough late-match execution to edge out Bloodline Baddies in the opening set, 23-21.

If the first set was close, the second was somehow even more dramatic. Bloodline Baddies fought hard to force a deciding set, but once again Big Dig Energy came through in the biggest moments, taking the second set 23-22 to complete the sweep. In one of the tightest finals you’ll see, the #2 seed Big Dig Energy proved their name true, digging deep when it mattered most and claiming the Sunday Intermediate Volleyball championship. 🏆🏐

Thanks everyone for a fantastic indoor volleyball season - we hope to see you out there soon!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
