Division 1 Delivers: Drama, PKs & a Championship Finish!

Division 1 brought the drama, the heart, and the high-level soccer this Sunday at Mather Sports Center, and it did not disappoint.

The semifinal between Crew FC and Outer Milan was one of the most electric matches of the season. From the opening whistle, both teams came ready to battle — fast-paced, physical, and incredibly clean. Outer Milan struck first to go up 1–0, but Crew FC answered with a beautiful breakaway finish to level it. The second half only intensified. Crew FC took a 2–1 lead on a counterattack that just barely crossed the line, but Outer Milan refused to fold. Stephanie buried a clutch equalizer to make it 2–2, and the back-and-forth continued until we were locked at 3–3.

And then… penalties.

The shootout was pure drama. Huge saves on both sides. Ice-cold finishes under pressure. It stretched all the way to the eighth kick. With everything on the line, Crew FC’s final attempt struck the left post — and just like that, Outer Milan advanced in unforgettable fashion. An absolute playoff classic.

In the finals, the #1 seed Benchwarmers showed exactly why they earned the top spot. After pouring everything into their semifinal thriller, Outer Milan came in with heart but understandably heavy legs. Benchwarmers capitalized early, controlled the tempo, and executed their game plan beautifully. Staying composed and organized throughout, they secured a 4–0 victory to claim the Division 1 championship.

🏆 1st Place: Benchwarmers
🥈 2nd Place: Outer Milan
🥉 3rd Place: Crew FC

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
