Block Party Rules: Women’s Intermediate Champs!

Friday Night Women’s Intermediate Volleyball wrapped up an exciting season at Clarke Dominguez Gym, capped off with a thrilling championship showdown. Throughout the season, teams battled hard each week, with standout performances from Block Party and Sizzle & Serve keeping fans on their toes. From early season matchups like Block Party’s 3–0 win over Ace Ace Baby on January 2 to Oops!...I Hit It Again’s victories over Kiss My Ace on December 12th, every week offered intense rallies, clutch spikes, and some incredible Player of the Game performances from players like Nadia N, Olga A, and Natalia G.

The playoffs delivered more of the same high energy. In the semifinals, Block Party defeated Kiss My Ace 2–1 to punch their ticket to the championship match. The final game lived up to the hype: Sizzle & Serve grabbed the first set 21–19, but Block Party stormed back in the second 21–13 and closed out the season with a decisive 15–10 win in the final set.

It was a season full of powerful serves, strategic plays, and memorable moments for everyone on the court. Block Party claimed the championship title, proving their consistency and resilience all season long. Congratulations to all teams and players as it was an amazing Friday night of women’s intermediate volleyball! 🏐

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
