In the semifinals, the 4-seed Jingle Balls pulled off a strong upset over 1-seed Big Ol’ Hitties, battling through a tightly contested match where every point had to be earned. Later that night, the 2-seed Free Ballin’ faced off against 3-seed Aces Assemble in a high energy showdown filled with big swings, strong blocks, and extended rallies. After a hard fought three set battle, Free Ballin’ punched their ticket to the finals.
The championship match between Free Ballin’ (2) and Jingle Balls (4) lived up to the hype. Free Ballin’ took the first set 21–16, but the second set turned into a full blown nail biter. The score stayed deadlocked deep into the game, with neither team willing to give an inch as rally after rally kept the crowd locked in. With the set tied late and the pressure at its highest, Free Ballin’ delivered when it mattered most, closing it out 22–20 to secure the championship.
