Short-Handed, Big Wins: Fireball Takes the Crown!

Monday night volleyball brought the chaos in the best way possible, with 11 total teams battling all season and only 5 earning a spot in the playoffs. Enter #4 seed Fireball, who showed up to the quarterfinals as the ultimate underdogs, literally. Fireball started their playoff run with just four players in the quarterfinal matchup against #5 seed Good Volleybrations, grinding out a tough 2–1 win to punch their ticket to the semis. Not exactly the recipe for a championship run… or so we thought.

From there, Fireball caught absolute fire. In the semifinals, they took down the #1 seed Street Meats in straight sets, shocking the bracket and proving they were not here by accident. On the other side, #3 seed Set It Off handled business against #2 Hitters Gonna Hit, setting up a finals matchup that was destined to be electric. With five players and momentum fully on their side, Fireball capped off the night with a dominant finals win over Set It Off, taking the match 21–16, followed by 21–14 to complete one of the wildest underdog runs we’ve seen all season.

From short-handed to champions, Fireball defeated multiple top seeds and earned every bit of that title. Huge congrats to Fireball on an unforgettable playoff run. Monday night volleyball will be talking about this one for a while. WOOHOO 🏆🔥

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
