A-Team Stands Tall: Co-Ed 1 Champions!

Friday night lights were shining bright at Mather Sports Center as the Co-Ed 1 division wrapped up its season with an action packed playoff showdown. With high seeds, underdog runs, and dramatic finishes, the postseason delivered exactly what fans love!

The night kicked off with a thrilling Semifinal matchup between the #2 seed 911 and the #3 seed The Thunderbolts. In what turned out to be the highest-scoring match of the playoffs, both teams went goal for goal in an offensive battle. The Thunderbolts came out swinging and never let up, edging past 911 with a 5–3 victory. Their aggressive attack and relentless pace proved to be the difference, punching their ticket to the finals and making a huge statement as the lower seed.

Waiting for them in the championship match was the top dog all season long... the #1 seed A-Team. The finals lived up to the hype, with both squads trading chances, making big defensive stops, and capitalizing on key opportunities. The Thunderbolts continued their hot streak, keeping the match tight and competitive until the final whistle. But A-Team showed why they held the #1 spot, staying composed under pressure and finishing strong to secure a 3–2 win.

With that victory, A-Team officially claimed the Co-Ed 1 Championship 🏆

From consistent regular season dominance to clutch playoff execution, A-Team proved they were the most complete squad in the division. Huge shoutout to The Thunderbolts for an incredible underdog run and a finals performance that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, and to 911 for a strong semifinal showing in one of the most exciting matches of the season.

Flamin’ Flamigos Fly to the Title! 🔥🦩

The Co-Ed 2 division delivered one of the most exciting playoff nights of the season, with high scoring matches, dramatic finishes, and nonstop action from start to finish. With a single elimination format, every possession mattered and every team left it all on the field.

The night opened with a thrilling Semifinal matchup between the #2 seed Flamin’ Flamigos and the #3 seed Adoberas. Both teams came out aggressive, trading goals and pushing the pace early. In a true back-and-forth battle, the Flamigos found just enough momentum to pull ahead, securing a dramatic 8–7 victory. Their offensive chemistry and relentless pressure proved to be the difference, sending them straight to the championship match.

Waiting for them in the finals was the top-ranked squad, the #1 seed Nottingham Miedo, who had dominated all season. But the Flamigos weren’t intimidated. They carried their semifinal momentum straight into the championship and put on a statement performance. With crisp passing, strong finishes, and high energy play on both ends of the field, the Flamigos surged ahead and never looked back, defeating Nottingham Miedo 7–2 to claim the title.

From a high-pressure semifinal thriller to a commanding finals performance, the Flamigos proved they were built for big moments. Huge shoutout to Adoberas for pushing them to the limit and to Nottingham Miedo for an impressive season long run as the top seed. This playoff night had everything, the goals, grit, and unforgettable moments.

What a way to cap off an incredible Co-Ed 2 season. 🔥⚽

The Open Division playoffs brought the intensity from the very first whistle, with high level play, physical matchups, and nonstop action across the pitch. With only the strongest teams left standing, every moment mattered and the night did not disappoint.

The Semifinals kicked off with a tightly contested matchup between the #2 seed Barca Nova and the #3 seed IMSFC. Both teams came out sharp, trading chances and pushing the tempo. It was a defensive battle early on, but Barca Nova managed to break through just enough to secure a hard fought 5–4 victory. Their ability to stay composed in tight moments made the difference, punching their ticket to the finals.

Waiting for them was the #1 seed Los Papis, who had been dominant all season long. The championship match lived up to its billing, featuring fast-paced play, big time finishes, and relentless pressure from both sides. Barca Nova kept it close, refusing to go away, but Los Papis stayed disciplined and clinical when it counted most. With strong ball movement and clutch goals, they pulled out a 5–4 win in an absolute thriller.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.

When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
