What a finish to another great season at Nitty’s Cider! The Wednesday Night Cornhole League brought out some incredible competition, nail-biting games, and plenty of good vibes to wrap up the season.
The night kicked off with the #4 Corned Beef Hash taking on the #5 Blaze of Glory in a tight quarterfinal matchup. Both teams came to play, but Blaze of Glory found their groove and pulled off the upset, advancing with a 3–2 win. On the other board, the #3 Live Laugh Lob squared off against the #6 Board Blazers, coming out strong and closing it out 3–1 to move into the semifinals.
In the semifinals, #1 CornHub—the top seed all season—met #5 Blaze of Glory, who tried to keep their underdog run alive. CornHub stayed composed and consistent, taking the match 3–1 to secure their spot in the finals. Meanwhile, #2 Cornacious D faced #3 Live Laugh Lob in a close battle that saw Live Laugh Lob edge out the win 3–1 to punch their ticket to the championship game.
The finals featured a showdown between #1 CornHub and #3 Live Laugh Lob, two teams that had been strong all season. CornHub came out hot and never looked back, sweeping the series 3–0 to claim the title of Wednesday Night Cornhole Champions!
